Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is a romantic drama that revolves around Shahid, who introduces Kriti to his family, unaware that the woman he has fallen in love with is a robot.

Shahid recently exclusively revealed to News18 what kept him away from romantic artists. He shared that it is difficult for him to find the perfect script for a romantic love story as he is interested in offering something new to the audience with his film outings. “It was a little strange doing something light and fun, definitely, but honestly, it’s the hardest genre to figure out. Because, I mean, I listen to 10 scripts a month and people don’t know that there are so many things that you hear from others; People tell me ‘aur picture karo’. But it is very difficult to find scripts that can offer the audience something new, and I think the love story is the most difficult genre to do. And then I discovered that this movie answered that question of mine, like what’s the new thing that can be done in a love story,” he said.

Directed by debutant directors Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film has a run time of 143.15 minutes, or 2 hours, 23 minutes and 15 seconds. It has received U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Bollywood Hungama recently reported that CBFC cut a scene where the characters are intimate, making it 25% shorter. They removed 9 seconds, reducing the original sequence from 36 seconds to 27 seconds. Apart from this, CBFC also changed the word ‘Daru’ to ‘Drink’ in the second half of the film.
