The trailer begins with young people in training, listening to the words of Lee Jung-jae’s Sun Master. “Close your eyes. Your eyes can deceive you,” he tells them. “We must not trust them.” It’s strikingly similar to what Obi-Wan Kenobi once said to Luke Skywalker, and leads to a flurry of exciting images: a crowded village, a showdown in a cantina between Carrie-Anne Moss’s Master Indara and a knife-wielding attacker, and, finally, Jedi charging at an unseen assailant who hurls a red-bladed lightsaber.

Additionally, Lucasfilm announced that The acolyte will arrive on Tuesday, June 4 with a two-episode premiere on Disney+and revealed the official key art for the series, which features a hooded figure in a rocky landscape, as the sun sets in the distance.
