Joey Graziadei He’s not single anymore!
After Margaret Kent he got out of the race realizing that Joey was more in love with Kelsey Andersonthe tennis pro proved she was right by asking the junior project manager the question.
Before the engagement, Joey called Kelsey “a shining light” and said, “She’s everything I wanted and more.”
When Joey took Kelsey to meet his family, they liked her, but expressed fear about whether or not she would be ready to accept a proposal and get married.
Then, during their spa date, Joey and Kelsey let loose and had some fun. Things got more serious during the nighttime portion of the date when Kelsey talked about her fears that it wouldn’t be her in the end.
Joey largely allayed her concerns and Kelsey gushed to him about what their life together could be like after the show.
When Daisy paid Kelsey a surprise visit before the final rose ceremony, the latter wasn’t shy about sharing her feelings for the tennis pro.
Then, after Daisy walked away from Joey, she returned to Kelsey and told her about her late mother: “I know your mom is going to despise this moment. She’s going to be so happy.”
As Kelsey, looking stunning in a white dress, made her way toward a smiling Joey, he confessed, “It’s her.”
“I knew from the beginning that there was something different about you and I just wanted to learn more,” Joey told Kelsey. “…There’s nothing difficult about choosing you. I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you.”
“I’ve known for a long time that I wanted to have a beautiful life, but I didn’t know how beautiful that life could be until I met you,” he said, before getting down on one knee and popping the question.
She quickly accepted and the couple were involved in a romantic kiss. Kelsey accepted Joey’s final rose.
During the live portion of the finale, Joey told the host Jesse Palmer“Now I have my forever.” With that, Kelsey came out on stage and gushed, “I’m so happy… I’m so excited for everyone to see how in love we are.”
“It’s been really hard for me to keep this a secret for so long,” Joey admitted as he smiled at his fiancée, before acknowledging how nervous he was about proposing.
“You did it perfectly,” Kelsey assured him.
As for how her late mother would feel about her engagement, Kelsey said, “I know she has watched our journey fully. I know she would love Joey without a doubt… I feel very lucky to have had the mother that I I had”. “By the time I did it. I definitely think she’s smiling down on us right now.”
Their relationship today, Joey said, is “the strongest it’s ever been.” Moving forward, Kelsey revealed that Joey will visit her hometown of New Orleans before moving to New York this summer.
The live segment ended with Joey saying, “I’m so lucky… I can’t wait to see what comes next.”
