The Bear Season 3 officially has a release window. As reported by VarietyFX president John Landgraf confirmed during the Television Critics Association press tour that the acclaimed Hulu show will return for its third season in June.
The Bear, which was one of our picks for best TV show of 2023, blends haute cuisine and family drama into a heady, intense stew. It has taken home numerous awards and turned Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri into breakout stars.
In addition to announcing the approximate release date of The Bear season 3, Landgraf also said that the entire season would arrive at once.
“It was not lost on me or anyone who worked on the show that it was anxiety-provoking,” he said. “So we made the decision to let it all go because it has a beautiful, uplifting ending.”
When asked if he could confirm that The Bear season 3 will include some of the big cameos that defined season 2, which included everyone from John Mulaney to Jamie Lee Curtis, Landgraf joked: “Unfortunately, I can’t. I was surprised as much as you.” when the Christmas episode came through the door.”
While we don’t know much about season 3, White has previously said that he hopes to spend more time in the kitchen now that the restaurant that was being built for much of season 2 is fully established.
