According to a Press release from ID, the docuseries offers “unprecedented access to key cast members, writers and crew spanning Schneider’s popular Nickelodeon series,” including Everything that cast members Giovonnie Samuels, Kyle Sullivan, Bryan Hearne, Katrina Johnson and director Virgil Fabian, Amanda’s show writers Jenny Kilgen and Christy Stratton, Alexa Nikolas from Zoey 101 plus the cast and crew of icarly, Sam and cat, Victorious and other Nickelodeon icons such as Marc Summers, former host of Double challenge.

The docu-series, which premiered on the Investigation Discovery channel on March 17 and 18, explores several programs created by Dan Schneider, who has since denied several allegations made against him in the documentary, including sexualizing children and cultivating of a toxic work environment.

“Everything that happened on the shows Dan directed was carefully vetted by dozens of adults involved and approved by the network,” a rep for Schneider said in a statement to Variety. “If there was a real problem with the scenes where some people, now years later, are ‘sexualizing’ they would be removed, but that’s not the case, they are still constantly broadcast around the world and enjoyed by children and parents alike. “

Drake Bell, from the Nickelodeon series Drake and Josh, appears in the third episode of the documentary. In the documentary, Bell accused former Nickelodeon acting and dialogue coach Brian Peck of sexual abuse.

In August 2003, Peck was arrested on charges of sexual abuse, including performing a lewd act on a child. The victim was one of the children Peck coached and was sexually abused in his home for more than six months, according to the Los Angeles Police. Peck served 16 months for child abuse and is now registered as a sex offender.

Clips from the documentary, including Bell’s story, have received millions of views on TikTok.

“My name is Drake Bell and I came here to tell my story. “I have never told my story publicly,” Bell shares in the documentary.

The silence on the set is Directed by Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz. The series is produced by Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television.
