The Japanese Embassy in the United States is reassuring Taylor Swift fans in Tokyo and the United States, assuring them that she can perform in concert and comfortably make it to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
A statement shared on social media reads: “The Embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports regarding the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo following her February 10 concert at Las Vegas in time to see the The Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII.”
“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can trust Speak Now “Say that if you leave Tokyo the night after your concert, you should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the statement continued.
Swift has been appearing at Kansas City Chiefs games during the 2023 season after being linked to tight end Travis Kelce. The “Bejeweled” singer has supported Kelce’s path to the Super Bowl. As Swift continues to tour internationally, many fans speculated whether she would appear at the big game on February 11, as she is scheduled to perform in Tokyo on February 10.
“We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone interested can participate. Brave knowing that this talented artist can wow the Japanese public and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red”the statement concluded.
The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers for the Lombardi Trophy in Las Vegas on February 11.
