New Delhi:

Veteran actor Zeenat Aman, who celebrated one year on Instagram last month, spoke at length about the possibility of a biopic being made on her. The actress, in an elaborate post, highlighted the need for her to also be fully involved in the process. She began the note with these words: “it would be silly to make a biopic about me without really getting involved,” and she went on to talk about how she has been called a “sex symbol” for years, especially by men. His beautifully written note read: “Frankly, no one knows me like I do, so any research to this end would be incomplete, even flawed, without my input. I would bet that for every piece of information about me that is available in the public domain.” , there are hundreds more that only I know. There is a treasure trove of milestones, anecdotes, and personal revelations that are essential to understanding my journey. Oh, it’s been a really interesting life.

I also won’t hide the fact that I’m wary of strangers telling my story. Especially men. The “sex symbol” label is impossible to remove (believe me, it’s been 50 years) and in the hands of the wrong narrator it may well become a work of gross voyeurism and conjecture. I’m very aware of the “bold women” stereotype.

She continued, “I’m neither a seductress nor a damsel in distress. And I’m certainly not a victim. There have been conversations about a possible series or movie, and I’m slowly getting used to the idea.” Before signing her, the actress said that she would perhaps need a sensitive director, a brave writer and an immaculate cast for her biopic to become a reality.

Take a look at Zeenat Aman’s post below:

Zeenat Aman often shares stories from her children’s childhood with her Instagram family. Previously, the star posted about an incident where Zahaan embarrassed her during a holiday in Mauritius. She wrote: “The year was 1995 and we were on a family holiday in Mauritius. I had been invited as a state guest to attend an event and had decided to make the most of my visit by bringing the kids and extending our stay. It was a quintessential summer vacation. The resort was luxurious, the food was delicious, the waters were crystal clear, and the kids were going crazy. They spent most of each day in the pool and sure enough, on the fifth day Azaan got an ear infection.”

She expressed: “We couldn’t have been gone for more than 20 minutes. It was a relatively minor problem and the lovely and rather serious doctor dealt with it quickly. So, imagine our surprise when we re-entered the waiting room and discovered that Zahaan had taken it upon himself to do a bit of redecorating. He had discovered the clinic’s seal and an ink pad on the receptionist’s empty desk and had proceeded to furiously stamp the spotless walls of the waiting room!
