Drea de Matteo says her Onlyfans account “saved her” when she was almost homeless and only had $10 left in her bank account.

in a interview with daily mailde Matteo, best known for playing Adriana La Cerva on “The Sopranos,” revealed that she was able to pay off her mortgage in just five minutes after creating the account.

“OnlyFans saved my life, 100 percent,” de Matteo, 52, told the outlet in a story published Tuesday. “I can’t believe I’m saying that, but he really saved us.”

The “Sons of Anarchy” actress said she initially “didn’t want to do it,” but the decision was made while she was out of work due to her stance against COVID-19 vaccine mandates.which made getting jobs in Hollywood a challenge.

“I was put into foreclosure and my house had flooded, so I was trying to sell it quickly. I wanted to try to sell it before they took it,” she explained de Matteo. “At the same time, I lost my mother and my other mother, who has dementia, had run out of money for her caregiver. “I didn’t know which way was up.”

De Matteo then revealed that he originally wanted to “do a podcast about (OnlyFans) that was controversial” with his partner, Robby Staebler.

Noting that she was going to show Staebler “rubbing her feet,” she explained, “you have to add something for Onlyfans in there.”

But after choosing to post some racy photos on the platform, her financial problems began to improve.

“I was like, ‘Shit.’ Within five minutes, I was able to pay Compass Real Estate, who took the sale of my house,” she said of joining Onlyfans for the first time. “I did it, but I didn’t want to do it. “I got a lot of criticism for doing it and it went fucking viral and people went crazy.”

De Matteo continued to shut down anyone who criticized his decision to join Onlyfans.

“Anyone who wants to condemn and belittle me, let them do so. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in of taking care of two young children,” she said.

Speaking with Fox News In September, de Matteo opened up about switching to Onlyfans after her agent dumped her, adding that she should have thought about the idea “sooner.”

“I know some people have said nasty things about me joining Onlyfans,” de Matteo said at the time. “But, you know, the way we see it in this house is that mom is a warrior, who doesn’t accept defeat… I thought, ‘Okay, so everyone’s in their underwear and they’re sexy on Instagram and I’m not I do that, but I can do it.'” do that and you’ll get paid for it’… I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before.”
