Critics' Choice Awards 2024: 12th flop and other big winners

New Delhi:

Vidhu Vinod Chopra 12th failure ruled the sixth edition of the Critics’ Choice Awards, held in Mumbai this year. Critics’ Choice Award winners were announced across 24 categories, including Indian feature films, short films and web series. In addition to acting and cinema, awards were given to web series, two special awards for Gender Sensitivity and the Award for Extraordinary Contribution to Cinema. 12th failure won Best Picture along with a big acting award for Vikrant Massey. Shefali Shah won the Best Actress award for her performance in We three. Jaideep Ahlawat took home the Best Supporting Actor trophy for Jaane Jaan and Deepti Naval’s performance in Goldfish It earned her the trophy for Best Supporting Actress.

In the web series category, Kohrra won big (Best Web Series). AnniversaryVikramaditya Motwane won the Best Director award and an acting award for Sidhant Gupta in the Best Supporting Actor (Web Series) category. Karan Johar Chat Show Coffee with Karan 8 won the award for Best Unscripted Show and Disney+Hotstar won the award for Best OTT Platform of the Year.

The Critic Choice Awards 2024 will air exclusively soon on streaming giant Disney+ Hotstar. Film Critics Guild and Group M Motion Entertainment, in collaboration with Vistas Media Capital, organized the Critics’ Choice Awards, which aims to celebrate excellence in Indian film and web.
