Generation X and Millennials will remember every moment of the era in which Tiffany Thiessen (then known as Tiffani Amber Thiessen) joined the cast of Beverly Hills 90210. She was not only super famous for her role as Kelly Kapowski in Saved by the Bellbut she was also dating one of the Fox show’s most popular stars. It seemed like a natural when she began filming her role as bad girl Valerie Malone in 1994, but there was someone who wasn’t exactly thrilled about his passionate scenes with his co-stars.
Brian Austin Greenwho played David Silver during the series’ successful run, admitted to Shannen Doherty Let’s be clear podcast that he wasn’t exactly the best boyfriend for Thiessen. “I had never been in a really serious relationship before,” he spoke of their romance that lasted from 1992 to 1995. “I used to take Tiffani to events so she would meet everyone since then and suddenly she’s doing sex scenes.” and f**k with people who were like my family and my brothers,” she shared. “It was weird. I remember he was actually fucking jealous and boisterous.”

It probably didn’t help that Thiessen’s character quickly became involved with the very popular Dylan McKay, played by the late luke perry. It wasn’t long before Green’s jealousy problem played a major role in her daily life. “Looking back on it, I can’t imagine what that was like for her,” he added. “I can’t imagine what it was like for her to be with me for three years at that point and then have to do these scenes and have her fucking boyfriend, who she lives with by the way, go crazy because of the way she was.”
Thiessen and Green get along great now, but she alluded to their work situation affecting their personal lives in the past. She had to constantly point out to Green that kissing Perry was a job: he was “paid” to make it seem like her love was real. “That was probably the most awkward thing,” she told Meredith Vieira on her short talk show in 2015. “Literally having your boyfriend on the show and then literally kissing another man.”
Green eventually had significant relationships with Vanessa Marcil, mother of his eldest son, Kassius, 21, and Megan Fox, to whom he was married for 11 years. They had three children together, Noah, 11, Body, 10, and Journey, 7. He now has engaged to ex dancing with the stars Pro Sharna Burgess, mother of his son, Zane, 21 months. Thiessen married Brady Smith and they share two children, her daughter Harper, 13, and her son Holt, 8.
