kate Middleton has been seen for the first time since she underwent a “planned abdominal surgery” two months ago.
On Monday, TMZ published images of the Princess of Wales, 42, in a car with her mother near Windsor Castle. The images emerge after weeks of incessant online speculation, and even Conspiracy theories, about his health and whereabouts. The royal was last seen with Prince William and his children during the Christmas festivities in Norfolk, England, but there have been no appearances or images of her since.
Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales’s uncle Gary Goldsmith became a contestant on the British reality show Big Brother on Monday night, and saying his niece is in “a nice house somewhere” recovering from surgery.
Kensington Palace released a statement in January announcing that Kate had undergone abdominal surgery in January and would recover (out of the spotlight) until after Easter. The statement added that her desire was to maintain “as much normality as possible for her children” and to keep her medical information private.
But in the meantime, social media users and royal watchers began sharing all sorts of conspiracy theories about Kate’s prolonged absence. kate was discharged on January 29after two weeks in hospital, and Kensington Palace announced that he was “making good progress” and recovering at his family home in Windsor.

Prince William had suspended his royal engagements while Kate recovered, but returned to duty on February 7 for an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle. Meanwhile, Kate will attend the royal family’s annual gathering. Trooping the color June 8 parade.
Speculation about the health and whereabouts of the Princess of Wales comes at a delicate time for the royal family, after Buckingham Palace revealed last month that King Charles had been diagnosed with a form of cancer.
No major British media has published the TMZ images so far. “There is a papal photo of the Princess of Wales. We will not be executing them out of respect for her privacy while she recovers from her operation in the timeframe we were given,” ITV royal editor Chris Ship wrote in a mail at X. “As far as I know, no other UK broadcaster or newspaper has published the photos either.”
The royal family has a long history of secrecy about medical information, but the Princess and Prince of Wales have previously been candid about medical issues, including pregnancy and mental health.
“That’s why William and Kate’s reticence about what’s happening with them is strange,” royal historian Clare McHugh previously told TIME.
