Travis Kelce Criticizes Taylor Swift’s ‘Tortured Poets Department’ LP – Billboard

With a chance to win the NFL’s biggest prize, and doing it with Taylor Swift by his side, Travis Kelce is a guy who has everything going for him. The soccer star’s good luck doesn’t end there; previewed Swift’s upcoming album, The Department of Tortured Poetswhich he describes as “incredible” and cutting-edge.

During her night of domination at the 2024 Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday (February 4) in Los Angeles, where she made history by receiving the fourth album of the year award of her career, Swift surprised everyone in the room, already millions of viewers around the world – when he announced The Department of Tortured Poetstheir eleventh studio album.

Kelce, unsurprisingly, has listened. “I’ve heard some of that, yes, and it’s incredible. “I can’t wait for her to rock the world when she finally falls,” she told “Extra’s.” Jenny Taft in the field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the opening night of Super Bowl LVIII.

The 34-year-old tight end reacted to his girlfriend’s excellent Grammy Awards, where she extended her career total to 14 wins, and commented: “She’s amazing, she’s rewriting the history books herself. I told him, ‘I’ll have to hold up my end of the deal and bring home some hardware too.'”

Whatever happens this weekend, supporting the Swifties has been a fun experience, Kelce explains. “I just go out and have fun,” she says. “Taylor has an incredible fan base that follows and supports her throughout her life. “It’s been fun to bring the Swifties together in the Chiefs realm and open them up to the world of football.”

The 6’5” athlete has a chance to cap off a brilliant week for the power couple when his Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers on February 11 for the Super Bowl.

Swift used the Grammys platform to give fans a moment of awe. “This is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number, I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that,” she joked from the podium as she won the Grammy for best pop vocal album. “I want to thank the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. I know that the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans. So I want to thank the fans by telling them a secret that I’ve been keeping from them for the last two years, and that is that my new album comes out on April 19. It’s called The Tortured Poets Department. I’m going to go post the cover right now backstage. Thank you I love you.”
