Travis Kelce details ‘cool moment’ watching Taylor Swift celebrate Chiefs win

Travis Kelce has detailed the electrifying on-field celebration that followed the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

The Chiefs tight end was elated after his team defeated the Ravens, 17-10, in the AFC Championship game to qualify for the 2024 Super Bowl.

All eyes were on the joyous celebration that followed, which included a major PDA moment between Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“We had the whole family in the field. We had me, mom, dad and Taylor. Everybody was down there,” Jason Kelce said on Wednesday’s episode of his podcast “New Heights”.

“You gave your patented speech: ‘You have to fight for your right,’ it didn’t feel right to say it,” he laughed.

Cameras caught Travis and Swift, both 34, sharing a sweet kiss on the field at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore after the big win before declaring their love for each other.

Swift watched the football action alongside Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, as well as her best friends Brittany Mahomes, Keleigh Sperry and Cara Delevingne from a VIP suite.

After her boyfriend’s big win that took the Chiefs to the Super Bowl, Swift was Pictured celebrating with Travis’ family.including his parents, Ed and Donna Kelce, and Jason, a veteran center for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jason, 36, went on to mention the now-viral moment between Chiefs coach Andy Reid and the 12-time Grammy winner, which showed the duo pointing at each other after the big win.

“This is the great photo tweeted by Big Red showing some love towards Taylor on stage. They’re pointing fingers at each other,” Jason told his brother.

“We talked about how they’ve known each other since the Philly days, shout out to Scott Swift, great Scott. “He and Andy are good friends,” the tight end said.

“It was a cool moment to see afterwards, I couldn’t see it because I was on stage screaming. But that one was great.”

Speaking about Travis’ celebration on the field after the win, Jason noted that it was the star’s first time accepting the Lamar Hunt Trophy for the AFC champions outside of Arrowhead Stadium.

Travis said that although there were fewer people there this time, he had all the support he needed.

“The only people that matter are family, friends, and the people who came on the damn flight with us, man. That’s all I care about,” he said.

“Everything extra… is just, you know, for show, I guess. I just cared about watching them and having fun with the guys I just won that game with. She feels like she’s a little sweeter. This journey to where we are now has been more of a challenge, which means more to overcome, which means in a way it means a little more.”

Detailing the team’s loud celebration on the way home, Travis said the Chiefs celebrated the entire flight home.

“We had a whole two-hour flight to ourselves, where it was just us partying on the damn plane back home,” he said. “It was electric, it was incredible.

“We had the coaches coming back to where the players were, just reminiscing about the season and enjoying every moment of being together and what we had just accomplished once again for the second year in a row. We have a special group, man.”

Page Six reported that Swift will attend the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as she resumes the international leg of her successful Eras Tour.

Swift has performances scheduled in Tokyo from February 7 to 10, a day before Super Bowl LVIII begins on Sunday, February 11, but there’s time to fly back and arrive in Sin City on Saturday night.

The pop star will be on tour for much of 2024, taking the Eras Tour through Australia, Singapore and Europe in the first half of the year, before heading to Canada in the fall.
