Actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna, who recently completed her MA program in fiction writing at Goldsmiths, University of London, revealed that no one in her class recognized her. Twinkle says no one at Goldsmiths knew her
Twinkle said, “I don’t think anyone in my class has done it. It was good because there were no other Indians there except a Kashmiri girl from Chicago. Like everyone, I had to create a bio, stand up and introduce myself. I had to make up a joke about my name, a literary one. Luckily, Jhumpa Lahiri wrote The Interpreter of Maladies and there is a character called Twinkle. “That became the perfect joke.”

He also said, “I was worried about who I would walk the halls with and who I would have lunch with. When the professor assigned three of us a presentation, we decided to have lunch together. We quickly became friends and from then on, I never ate lunch alone again. “I made a lot of new good friends.”
