There were two qualifying matches to determine who would participate in a ladder match to become the first holder of a new WWE title.
At the upcoming WWE NXT Battleground live premium event at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, there will be a six-way ladder match to determine the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion.
In the first of two qualifying matches on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT (May 14), Sol Ruca defeated Izzi Dame to advance to the ladder match in Las Vegas.
In the second of the qualifying matches, Ivy Nile from the main roster faced Lash Legend.
Thanks to a moment where Jakara Jackson distracted Ivy Nile, who had to spend more time throwing a kick, Legend was able to take advantage.
Lash Legend was able to defeat Ivy Nile to advance to the ladder match at Battleground.
qyalifyig matches will continue on NXT in the coming weeks to determine the six women who will participate in the ladder match at Battleground on June 9.
