Vanderpump Rules Star Ally Lewber on Her Birth Chart, Compatibility With James Kennedy, and Season 11

Ally Lewber is probably best known for planting the seeds that led to Scandoval. In season 10 of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, we meet Ally through her boyfriend and longtime cast member James Kennedy. She comes across as sweet on camera, interested in astrology and calling Kennedy on his bullsh*t. Late in the season, Lewber mentions that she saw cast mates Tom Sandoval and Rachel (aka Raquel) Leviss dancing together late at night at a bar.

The rest is history. (If you haven’t heard about Scandoval, really, where have you been?)

I met Ally through the astrology scene, and we clicked instantly. Amid the show’s intense drama last season, Ally offered solid advice on how to navigate the drama in their crew during the Leo New Moon and other cosmic events that affected many of the cast mates. Using her intuitive wisdom, Lewber was able to ground herself amid all of the theatrics that unfolded, knowing when to stand up for herself.

I caught up with Ally ahead of the much-anticipated season 11 premiere to talk all things astrology, and to get some insight on the drama to come.

Lisa Stardust: Tell us about yourself. Let’s get to know Ally on a deeper level.

Ally Lewber: I’m originally from Dayton, Ohio and moved to LA in 2018, mainly for the sunshine but also with a dream to work on movies or to be a part of the entertainment industry in some way. In my free time, I love to sing, go to the movies, play with my cats and goldendoodle, and, of course, talk about astrology!

LS: How did you get into astrology?

AL: I’ve been into astrology since I can remember. I loved reading my horoscopes in magazines as a pre-teen by the pool or on the bus. I got deeper into it in college, but then really began studying the stars during the COVID lockdown. I actually was studying meteorology online at Penn State around that time too, but wasn’t quite feeling that. I always joke that now I forecast the future instead of the weather and I’m so happy with that.

LS: What are your big three in astrology and what does that mean?

AL: I am a Capricorn sun, Libra moon, Pisces rising. If we break that down, I am becoming a more work-focused individual in this lifetime (Capricorn sun); I need love, balance, and peace (and a lot of pink aesthetics) in my life (Libra moon); and I get all of that by expressing my spirituality, emotions, and music/art (Pisces rising).

LS: Vanderpump Rules was intense last season. How does this season start?

AL: Intense is the best word to describe it, yes. Last season was intense for me in many different ways. I mean, it was my first season and first time being around these people and I had just really started dating James. And then the obvious reason, the affair, which just escalated everyone’s emotions, to put it simply. This season starts out rocky. Everyone is just trying to figure out where they fit in this friend group now and how to pick up the pieces… if that’s even possible. It will be interesting to watch it all play out, actually, because it was messy.
