Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their split on Thursday. He Vanderpump Rules and Valley The stars will get married in 2019.
Cartwright revealed their split during an appearance on the couple’s joint podcast. When reality hits.
“Jax and I are taking some time apart and I made the decision to move to another house to have some space for the sake of my mental health,” she said.

“I’m taking it one day at a time,” Cartwright continued on Thursday, adding that “I don’t know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mother to Cruz and I love them. Pray for us and everything will be fine. We’re ok.”
Valley will follow Taylor, Cartwright, Kristen Doute and several newcomers as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for bottles in the suburbs. The show wrapped filming before news of Taylor and Cartwright’s split, but Bravo representatives did not immediately respond to questions about whether the split will affect the show.
Taylor and Cartwright left Vanderpump Rules in December 2020. Doute was fired from the series (along with co-star Stassi Schroeder) in June 2020 after calling the police on her former castmate Faith Stowers in 2018, associating her with a crime she did not commit.
“I think they learned a lot, I think they appreciate what it means to be on television and have this opportunity when it’s taken away from them, so I think it’s there,” producer Alex Baskin said recently. The Hollywood Reporter of deciding to bring the trio back to television. “We also addressed the Kristen situation, so we’re not going to pretend that everything didn’t happen. “That comes up and is part of what we cover on the show.”
