Gisele Bundchen His mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher, died after a battle with cancer. She was 75 years old.
Nonnenmacher’s death was confirmed in a statement discharged from the Moinhos de Vento Hospital, a medical center in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Nonnenmacher died on Sunday after being admitted on Friday. People reports.
Bündchen has yet to publicly comment on her loss.
Nonnenmacher was the mother of the supermodel and Bündchen’s five brothers — including his twin sister, Patricia, as well as his other sisters, Rafaela, Graziela, Gabriela and Raquel.
According to the Brazilian exit GHZNonnenmacher worked as a bank teller while raising her six children, who she shared with her husband Valdir Bündchen, in the Brazilian town of Horizontina.
Bündchen has frequently paid tribute to her mother and celebrated her in social media posts. In June 2022, she commemorated her mother’s birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post.
“Happy birthday mom! I will be forever grateful for everything you have done and continue to do for us,” Bündchen wrote. “Thank you for always loving us, inspiring us and teaching us. Thank you for giving me life! I love you so much!”
