Away from cricket, Virat Kohli spent some quality time with his family while his wife Anushka Sharma gave birth to the couple’s second child, Akaay. “We weren’t in the country. We were in a place where people didn’t recognize us. Just spending time together as a family, feeling normal for two months – for me, my family – was a surreal experience. “I’m not playing for these internationals anymore. That’s the promise I can make here: I’ll keep showing up and do the best I can.” He was a little disappointed that he couldn’t finish the game.
