Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell are just friends.
Despite recent reconciliation rumors, the “Love is Blind” stars confirmed ahead of Wednesday’s reunion episode that they are not back together.
Blackwell admitted to Entertainment Weekly this week that the couple, who split during Season 6, attempted to patch things up after the cameras stopped rolling.
“We tried to go out for days and we really tried,” he recalled. “We did everything we could and it just didn’t work.”
Presnell, 28, ended things with Blackwell, 31, for the second time following their brief reconciliation.
“He called me and told me that he realized he didn’t want a relationship,” she explained. “This experiment relied a lot on him and it just didn’t work.”
He explained to the media“In the end, it just didn’t work because I felt like I had skeletons in my closet at the time that she was constantly bringing up.”
The former couple clashed with several things during their time on the hit Netflix series, including Blackwell’s insistence that Presnell wasn’t affectionate enough and Presnell thinking she was too “clingy” while he repeatedly assured her that he was in love with her. she.
