Swifties, we have some delicate news to share: Travis Kelce will not be accompanying Taylor Swift to the 2024 Grammys.
Although fans were hopeful that #Tayvis would make her red carpet debut at the Feb. 4 ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, sources close to the couple tell E! News that the NFL tight end will be busy preparing for the Super Bowl.
In fact, the Grammys are exactly one week before Travis and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates take on the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. So, understandably, athletes will be in practice mode before the big game.
While we won’t see Taylor and Travis, both 34, at the awards show, the “Lover” singer will likely be at the 2024 Super Bowl. Although she has a Tour of the eras concert in Japan on February 10, you will still have time to fly to Sin City before the start on February 11, all thanks to the schedule change.
Taylor was also on hand to watch her boyfriend’s team defeat the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game on January 28, securing their spot in the Super Bowl. After the historic victory, Taylor was joined by Travis’ family, including her mother. Diana Kelcedad Ed Kelce and brother Jason Kelcein the field to celebrate.
