WWE NXT provided a night of quality action in Clarksville, Tennessee with Vengeance Day 2024. The young talent who delivered that night would appear on the February 6 edition of NXT for later.
Why, Carmelo Hayes, why? NXT’s most important friendship fell apart after Melo cost Trick Williams the NXT Championship and then defeated him. What would he himself have to say?
Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker completed their men’s journey at the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic by defeating Melo and Trick in the finals. They would celebrate their victory and their future tag team title opportunity.
Lola Vice ruined Roxanne Perez of her shot at the NXT Women’s Championship one-on-one by cashing in the women’s Breakout contract at Vengeance Day. The two would continue their fight in the ring one on one.
Riley Osborne was hoping to finally shut up Lexis King. Malik Blade and Edris Enofé needed a rebound victory, but had to face the exciting duo of Nathan Frazer and Axiom to get it.
Vengeance Day left many questions unanswered and NXT sought to begin answering them.
