Beneker, who has worked in seal equipment since 2017 and before that he was script coordinator at Sons of Anarchyclaims in 2019 that he questioned current showrunner Spencer Hudnut about why previous showrunner John Glenn had hired a new male writer when Glenn claimed at the time that “there were already too many writers on staff and there was no room for CBS to hire (Beneker). .”
“Hudnut indicated it was because he was black,” the complaint says.
While continuing his work as a script coordinator, Beneker wrote three episodes of the David Boreanaz-directed series in 2019. He reportedly has another set to air as the eighth episode of the series’ upcoming seventh and final season. His lawsuit is backed by former Trump White House adviser Stephen Miller’s America First Legal Foundation nonprofit.
Many writers discovered Beneker’s deception in citing the UCLA annual report Hollywood Diversity Reportor criticizing their past performance.

Now, in an effort not to face that truth, he is linking up with Trump’s Secretary of Information in a bullshit lawsuit whose only real purpose is to serve as a cudgel against still underrepresented groups that STILL occupy historically low numbers of the jobs available here. .”

Adds the founder of The Blacklist Franklin Leonardo, “There’s a lot of really fun stuff here, but seeking a court order to become a full-time producer on the show you’ve been coordinating the script for is really amazing.”
