British supercar maker Aston Martin launched the DB12 GT car in India in September 2023. The car is priced at $4.59 crore and its first owner in India is Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal. Images of Deepinder Goyal’s new Aston Martin DB12 supercar were shared by the name ‘Automobili Ardent India’ on Instagram with a post titled: “The first Aston Martin DB12 in the country! Delivered through Aston Martin New Delhi, this stunner comes painted in Satin Aston Martin Racing Green. How wonderful this is under the sun.”z
The Zomato CEO has chosen a satin Aston Martin Racing Green that features huge 21-inch alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish. It comes equipped with a Mercedes-Benz sourced engine and has a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that is capable of generating around 680 PS and 800 Nm of torque with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission attached.
The model is the successor to the already popular Aston Martin DB11 GT supercar and, according to the company, is 80 percent new.
Earlier, former Shark Tank India judge and former BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover claimed that Deepinder Goyal would buy sports cars after each funding round.
He said in a podcast: “I’m passionate about cars and it’s not just me, it’s everyone. Jaise Zomato is the founder of Deepinder, sabse zyada shauk usko tha.
