Quarterfinals – Game 1

A single round with fast time control will be followed by a eliminator with classic time control. The rapid test determines the matchups for the knockout.

Time controls

  • Round-robin: 25 min per game + 10 seconds per move
  • Tiebreakers: head-to-head, number of wins, Sonneborn-Berger
  • Quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals: 2 matches with a standard time control of 90 min/40 moves + 30 additional minutes for the rest of the match + 30 seconds per move

Schedule

  • February 9 and 10: Free-for-all with a quick time control
  • February 11 and 12: quarterfinals
  • February 13 and 14: semifinals
  • February 15 and 16: finals
