Taylor Swift won her 13th Grammy at the Feb. 4 ceremony and celebrated the moment with a “gift” for fans: the reveal of her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
She said during their first concert of the year “Eras Tour” in Tokyo that he arrived at the Grammy night with “a plan in (his) head.”
“I thought, ‘Okay, if I’m lucky enough to win something tonight, I’ll just do it,’ he said onstage. “I’m just going to announce my new album.”
Swift’s last unrecorded album, “Midnights,” won best pop vocal album on Feb. 4, prompting the announcement because of the meaning of the number 13. The singer’s birthday is Dec. 13 and she said it a long time ago YoIt’s your “lucky number.”

Some noted that even the Grammys audience seemed taken aback by the announcement, with Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo and Ed Sheeran shown on camera applauding with polite smiles. A notable silence also apparently fell over the room, suggesting commotion on the part of the crowd.
Other commenters expressed a fresh bout of disappointment at the lack of news about Swift’s case. highly anticipated re-recording of “Reputation”. Fans have come up with elaborate theories about the album’s announcement date since the October release of “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
