Tonight’s “WWE SmackDown” is reported to be nothing short of electrifying.
According to Pro Wrestling Insider (reported in its Elite section), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is backstage in Birmingham for Friday’s episode of “SmackDown.” PWI claims that Johnson will appear on screen and speculates that he will likely have something to do with the showdown between men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes and WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It would be Johnson’s third live appearance in WWE since his initial return in September, and the first since he became a member of the TKO Board of Directors in January.
